  • As a challenger brand operating within this dynamic fast-growing plant-based category, we need a dynamic & passionate foodie who can open up new business opportunities in the UK across all channels; Independents, Health Food, Online and Grocery
  • No surprise, we are looking for a high-impact Business Development Manager who can open doors but also someone with the strategic agility and category-based approach to no just secure listings but build a sustainable UK operation


The role:

  • We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can rapidly and skillfully prospect, manage and grow a new portfolio of customer relationships whilst identifying and maximising any development opportunities.
  • With a huge amount of ambition and strong financial backing, you will initially target the health food channel (Wholefoods, As Nature Intended, Planet Organic, Holland & Barrett), distributors and independents; before targeting major retailers such as Ocado, Boots, Waitrose and the big four.
  • You’ll be the catalyst to successfully launching this award- winning plant-based FMCG challenger food brand into the UK, which has the real potential to be future Head of Sales role


Ideal candidate:

  • You will be a driven Business Development Manager with mutli-channel experience across UK retailers with a track record of identifying and acting upon growth opportunities
  • Ideally looking for someone experienced, with strong blue-chip training background and entrepreneurial nature, now hungry for the challenge & reward of the SME environment
  • Will be able to demonstrate impressive business achievements through consumer insight and bringing energy & motivation to your role
  • Be fiercely driven and have a passion to succeed as if it was you own business….
  • Finally, the product & category suits a foodie, so a passion for and knowledge of food developments and technology would be a distinct advantage


Benefits & details:

  • Salary is pitched c£45-55k with strong bonus opportunity and benefits
  • London based
