  • We are seeking a dynamic Category & Insights Manager to join this high-performing and passionate team.

 

Role:

  • As a Category & Insights Manager – EMEA, you will be the authoritative voice in market intelligence, category, and shopper insights, collaborating with both regional and central teams.
  • Your primary responsibility is to work with the EMEA region to identify and unlock growth opportunities across offline and online channels, categories, retailers, and formats.
  • You’ll collaborate with and support the MS&P and Sales teams, guiding them to discover and capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Additionally, you will play a critical role in objectively reporting on market performance and the key drivers contributing to that performance.
  • Your expertise in leveraging syndicated data and custom research will be instrumental in formulating impactful insights and recommendations that shape the commercial strategy.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • We are seeking a thought leader for the EMEA region who can provide a holistic and integrated view of the category, shopper behaviour, and marketplace to guide strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Ideally, you will have substantial category management and shopper insights experience in FMCG companies, particularly within EMEA markets.
  • Proven experience in direct retailer interface, including with prominent retailers such as Carrefour, Tesco, Auchan, Lidl, etc., will be a strong advantage.
  • You should be highly analytical, with a strong ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and collaborate effectively with data providers.
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must, with the ability to build relationships quickly and challenge the status quo when necessary.
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated resilience, agility, and personal accountability.
