Our client:

  • A multi award-winning company, which has many years heritage within the market, is currently looking for an Ecommerce Account Manager to spearhead Ocado and Amazon relationships
  • As a supplier of important items of consumers weekly baskets, they have a large voice & presence on the online shop. Coupled with a wide & varied product offering there is some real complexity to their operation and role! they have great ambition for continued growth, and for someone to drive their rapidly growing eCommerce channel
  • Building on a solid platform, they are now looking for a dynamic Ecommerce Account Manager who can unlock further Ecommerce growth and help build internal capability.


The role:

  • For this Ecommerce Account Manager role we are looking for someone to hold full responsibility for their growing online channel. You would have full account responsibility for Ocado & Amazon along with the remit to develop presence with multiple grocers and explore online white space.
  • This is a key appointment for the business and you will need to be commercially strong as you’ll be managing a P&L, in addition to having a good understanding of media planning/media investment (offline or online) in order to work with Ocado & Amazon to deliver the right activation to support the wider online strategy.
  • Working cross functionally with multiple teams, you will gain a great level of understanding of the end-to-end supply of Fresh Foods


Ideal candidate:

  • You will have held an Ecommerce Account Manager role within an FMCG environment, ideally with an understanding of fresh foods end-to-end supply chain
  • Prospective candidate will already have held P&L responsibility and able to manage an account in the online/digital market
  • You will be driven, focussed and have true entrepreneurial flair
  • The successful candidate must have an understanding of the food industry and demonstrate a passion for the sector
