National Account Manager – Branded non-food consumer goods – FTC

  • High levels of customer service offered to a major UK and international retailers across multiple channels including online, department stores and independent retail

The role:

  • Management of UK national and key accounts to build on long standing relationships with key partners. Customers likely to include Lakeland, The White Company and Wayfair
  • Work well with other functions across the business including marketing, operations and product teams
  • Oversea the independent customer channel and in-store training and promotional activity
  • Construct analytical reports, budgeting, forecasting and business planning
  • Be driven and work well under pressure. Demonstrate tenacity, willingness to succeed

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a branded non-food area such as housewares or a closely related category, candidates from other FMCG sectors will be considered
  • Worked for a brand or luxury business where brand representation is of high importance
  • Sold to major UK retail customers – experience of Lakeland, Wayfair or aligned retailers would be an advantage. Other similar retail experience will be considered
  • Operated as a Key or National Account Manager
  • Able to hit the ground running and adapt quickly
  • Passionate, personable and a great relationship builder
  • Need to be sociable, a great communicator and ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Location wise will need to be Midlands or South-West based close to both sites
  • Fixed term contract for a minimum of 12 months
