£45-55k plus 12.5% bonus, car/ allowance & package

Our client:
- Category leading drinks business seeking a National Account Manager to manage their strong portfolio of brands into key Convenience retailers
- Their hero brand holds number 1 status within their sub-category and the business has been very active in the last 24 months bringing new brands to market with objective of claiming #2 position also
- Offers power & scale of large International food group, but operates as independent UK operation with agility of small business; with a committed team and a fun, family orientated and straight forward culture
The role:
- We are looking for a driven and experienced National Account Manager to take on ownership of key Convenience customers; Coop, Nisa & Spar who are massively important to this brand leader!
- Reporting to the Business Unit Controller – OOH (OOH team c6 people) you will be accountable for developing and executing the overall Convenience channel strategy through building best-in-class customer relationships and developing new business opportunities
- Acting as a true brand ambassador, you will have the opportunity to work with high profile customers and represent a category leading brand
Ideal candidate:
- For this National Account Manager role we are looking for a someone who relishes autonomy and can identify opportunities and build strong customer relationships quickly
- Ideally you will have strong and proven commercial experience at NAM level, and have a network within the likes of Coop, Nisa, Spar (Central & RDCs), but we are open to other channel backgrounds.
- Able to demonstrate strong selling and negotiation skills with a proven track record of growing and developing an account base
- Big brand FMCG background & training
- A team player, but able to think independently and manage time effectively
- Finally, you must have a growth mindset, real results-focus and drive to succeed in the FMCG industry, able to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, self-starter determination & that all important desire to deliver
