GroceryAid Day 2026
30th April 2026GroceryAid Day 2026 is here! Businesses across the grocery sector will come together to raise awareness of the support available to those working in the sector.

What is GroceryAid?
GroceryAid is the industry charity supporting people across FMCG, retail, manufacturing and supply chain.
Their support is free, confidential and available 24/7, 365 days a year.
It’s there for anyone working in the industry, no matter the role, level or situation.
What support is available?
GroceryAid covers three key areas, all designed to support people in different ways depending on what they’re going through.
Financial support
Includes things like financial grants, debt advice through StepChange, guidance from MoneyHelper, carers grants, benefits calculators and cost of living support.
Emotional support
Is available through a 24/7 helpline, counselling services, carers support, workplace support and access to online health and wellbeing resources, including crisis support when it’s needed most.
Practical support
Covers areas such as legal advice through Law Express, gambling addiction support via GamCare, additional debt advice, carers support, crisis support and specialist guidance from organisations like the National Autistic Society.
Everything is designed to be easy to access and completely confidential.
How to access support
Support is always available, not just on GroceryAid Day 2026.
Colleagues can call the free helpline on 08088 021 122 or message via WhatsApp on +44 7418 360780 to speak to someone directly.
It’s worth noting that grant applications aren’t discussed via the helpline, but the team can guide people to the right place.
Why awareness still matters
The support is there. The challenge is making sure people know about it.
GroceryAid Day plays an important role in that. It gives businesses a reason to start conversations, share information and remind their teams that support exists if they ever need it.
What can businesses do?
It doesn’t need to be complicated! It could be: Sharing a post, mentioning it in a team meeting, or sending a quick message internally.
Small actions like these help more people become aware of what’s available to them.
