Hannah’s Journey at Seven
27th April 2026After nearly two years with Seven, Hannah has made an exciting move to Australia, bringing her journey at Seven to a close.

From Grad to Consultant: Hannah’s Journey
Joining as a Graduate Consultant, she quickly became a valued part of the team. Over time, she built a strong career as a 360 consultant within the FMCG recruitment space, becoming known for her reliability, relationship-building, and consistent approach.
Before she headed off, we asked Hannah a few questions about her time at Seven, what she’s learned, and her advice for others starting out in recruitment.
What’s one thing you’ll genuinely miss about working here?
“I think there are 2 main things! One will definitely be all my colleagues; we are definitely a close knit group here at Seven, and I will miss hearing about everyone’s days and weekends! The other has to be all the candidates and clients I speak with. It’s so interesting to hear about everyone’s lives and situations, and playing a huge role in someone’s life is so rewarding.”
What’s one thing you’ve learned here that you’ll take with you?
“I think confidence has been a huge thing for me. I have grown so much personally and professionally, and I am much more confident speaking to new people and engaging in different conversations.”
How would you describe your time here in three words?
“Three words are really tricky… I’d say growth, collaborative and rewarding!”
As someone who came in as a graduate, what advice would you give to someone stepping into your role?
“Calendar is King! Recruitment can be tough with different processes going on at the same time. My key tip would be to put everything in your calendar as soon as you think of it/the task comes across your desk. This way you don’t forget things and have structure to your day! I’d also say mindset really matters; it can take a while to get used to recruitment, and it can seem like things just aren’t going your way. Trust the process, keep putting in the time and the work, and your luck will come!”
Favourite highlight of your time being here?
“I think my highlight at Seven might actually be my first placement after becoming a full 360 consultant! Managing the process end-to-end was a really fantastic experience. Our Christmas party at Harewood House this year definitely has to be a top contender from a social aspect, though!!”
One message for the team before you go?
“Cliché, but just thank you! Everyone at Seven has taught me so much and been such a pleasure to get to know. The team here are such a genuine bunch of people who go out of their way to help you out and really do care. 😊”
Final Thoughts
Hannah’s journey is a great example of how much can change in a short space of time when you step into recruitment. From graduate level to a confident consultant managing full processes, her progression speaks for itself.
We wish her all the best for her move to Australia and everything that comes next. 💛
