We have worked with Costa Express since 2009, filling several marketing and brand roles across their business.

Role
Background
We have worked with Costa Express since 2009 and we had just placed the Interim Marketing Director when we received this brief. Following a restructure of the marketing division, Costa identified a need for new key senior marketers, and came to Seven to find the right mix of talent to develop their brand online at home and abroad. The roles were business critical and the skills were not available in-house. These three players had to run their own divisions but also work cross-functionally within an SME-style department of a global corporate business – so finding the right characters was essential. We advertised these roles on our social channels and sector-specific job boards and the strength of our brand attracted several high calibre candidates.
The whole process for the team of three senior roles was completed in under 6 weeks, the Digital role being filled in under one week! All candidates are still in-role, all three having built up their own teams. Costa Express continue to dominate following their acquisition by Coca Cola, now owning over 9,000 machines in the UK and expanding fast globally.
